CSLR on Tour

There are a number of places of inspiration, information and assistance to those wanting to get involved in this hobby. The Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers is a group based in the UK but with international membership, which is run by volunteers and produces a quarterly magazine for members. The association is an excellent place to find out about events and meet others who have similar interests both locally and nationally. Their website has been updated recently and has a section devoted to new-comers. There is a national magazine - Garden Rail - which is produced monthly and available from newsagents. There is a 16mmngm e-group, hosted by Yahoo, which is invaluable for hints and tips and is guaranteed to have lively discussion and comment on all matters narrow gauge. To cater more for electric track powered models there are G-Scale groups - probably more in keeping with the CSLR than a fixed scale of 16mm to the foot, with a Society and forum.

Finally, but by no means least, there are a growing number of web-sites relaying the story of individual and club railways, both in gardens and 'portable' for exhibition use. These can be accessed from the Web-Ring link on the Home page of this site.
